  • How much is a congress ticket and what does it include?
     
     **Early Bird rates extended to 31 March 2011
  • Are there special rates for students?
    There are 300 student tickets available on a first come first served basis at a discounted rate of $6,500 TWD (approximately 210 USD or 165 EUR).
  • What payment methods are available?
    Two payment options are available (charges apply according to your bank and exchange rates):
    1. Credit card and
    2. T/T bank transfer
    For international bank transfers please ensure your full payment is processed within 72 hours, otherwise the organisers may cancel your registration. You will be contacted within 10 business days to confirm receipt of payment.
    Please do not post cash in the mail, bankers draft/ cheques are not accepted.
  • How do I register?
    You can register online via the registration page to create a login profile and purchase tickets.[Link]
    Alternatively, you can download and complete a paper (print) registration form [Link and submit a copy along with your payment information, to the organisers, as per the contact details provided.
  • What other items should I budget for personally?
    − Travel to Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)
    − Visa-processing fees
    − Your own personal expenses
    − Accommodation and transportation
    − Personal travel and health insurance.
  • Can you recommend somewhere to stay?
    The organisers have negotiated special rates at a number of preferred accommodations within Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), a range of budgets has also been considered, the list can be found here: http://www.2011ida.com/english/tdc_hotel.asp
  • Can I cancel my ticket?
    For cancellation deadlines and applicable charges, please refer to the terms and conditions of the event  here: [Link], complete a 'Refund Application Form', which is available for download here: [Link], and return to the congress organising committee office as indicated. 
  • Can I make a name substitution for my ticket?

  • What do I need to bring on the day?
    Please bring with you on the day:
    − A copy of your registration notice confirmation
    − Student identification or a letter from your educational institute (if applicable).
  • When can I register on site?
    Pre-congress registration will be open from Sunday 23 October 2011 from 1pm – 8pm at the Taipei International Convention Center, and from 8am – 9am on Monday 24 October 2011.
