Department of Spatial Design, College of Creative Media

 

This workshop will investigate one of the most fun activities in Taiwan, while at the same time learn about the local culture - the Night Market, and will not only enable Taiwan participants to experience and discover the night markets from a professional point of view, but also allows the participants from all over the world to interact with local students to spark vibrant ideas, creative reasoning and design issues related to night markets. The workshop will also provide access to our department resources, such as different labs and working spaces, including: the 3D Virtual and Augmented Reality Lab, Digital Performance Lab, Computer Aided Design and Production Lab, Student Research room for Special Topics, and the Creative Workshop.

Lunches and dinners may take place at restaurants which were converted from historic buildings, and may also try some Tainan cuisine.

Accommodations would be arranged to stay at Lian-Hua Dormitory, Tainan vacation centre, Hua-Mao Hotel, Guan-Hua Hotel or others in equal standard.

About Us

Kun Shan University is situated in the historic city of Tainan, which embraces a treasure trove of history and culture laid down by different eras. The Department of Spatial Design serves a general role to discover history and connect technology with the past, the present, and the far future. It was established in 1999 and is one of the finest and most reputable departments in southern Taiwan. The Department of Spatial Design comprises two modules: Interior Design and Engineering Management, and Performance Design and Multimedia.
